Minute To Win It!

We played Minute to Win it games today for our AR party! There were tears from laughter, me included! :) We had a lot of fun. The whole class made their goal this quarter. Way to go! I have talked to your child about a new goal and will be sending home a letter about it next week. Thanks for all your support at home!

First Week Success!

We had a super first week of school! Everyone did an
outstanding job learning rules and procedures. They were doing so well that we even got our new Chromebooks out!

If you click on "A Look Into Our Week", you will find our weekly objectives. I also have them on our Focus Wall in our classroom, so the kids know exactly what they should be able to do that week.

Have a good weekend!

Counting with Groups of Ten

Today, the kids talked about different ways to count a large group of items. We talked about working together to make groups of ten and then extra ones to count faster. Then, they got to give it a try! I had different amounts in each group. First, they made an estimation. Then, they worked together to group the items in tens and extra ones to find the actual number.
